Surakarta city was founded in 1745. The city was once the seat of government at the end of the Sultanate of Mataram. Keraton Surakarta is the symbol and the embryo of the city of Surakarta, better known city of Solo. Keraton Surakarta, or in his official name Kraton Surakarta Sultanate, is a historic place that is not to be missed when visiting the city of Solo. How to go to Solo
